Salam Panja is a medicinal herb found at high altitude hilly areas of Himalaya and Tibet regions. The dried root tuber of the plant look like birds’ claw that is why it is call panja. This herb is are used in Unani and Ayurvedic systems of medicines as nervine tonic, aphrodisiac, a powerful stimulant and virility enhancer. This may help in increasing body weight to promote strength. It is often used along with few other herbs like Safed Musli, Ashwagandha, Kaunch Beej, Satawar, Jaswant Phool , Salam Mishri, Rumi Mastagi, Tukhm-E-Utangan, Shilajeet etc.
